Flexeril Side Effects: Will it wear off?

My dentist prescribed Flexeril 10mg for me so that I would stop grinding my teeth at night. I took one pill this last Monday night before bed & ended up completely sleeping through Tuesday & Wednesday (yes, I missed work). It was awful. I couldn't think, I was extremely dizzy, & my speech was slurred. Today is Thursday & I still feel very strange. Not as bad as it was (I could at least get up & get dressed) but I am still very dizzy & strange feeling from just that one pill. I don't take any other meds, so I know it is the flexeril. I'm just scared cuz I have heard some horror stories about this feeling never going away. I'm hoping it will wear off soon. Can someone give me some insight?
