flomax and insomnia

my husband had open heart surgery 3 weeks ago today. After 2 weeks a urologist put him on flomax. Since taking this drug he is up 7 to 9 times a night peeing. Insomnia... sleeps only at 40 minute intervals. nightmares. walks around. I am begging to think it is this drug
