Have you experiences this?

I've been taking Lotrel 10/40 for about 3 months now - it is about the only medication that seems to control my blood pressure. However, I have MAJOR swelling of my ankles and legs (gets worse the longer I'm on it) and that swelling is to the point of discomfort walking, etc. by the end of the day. I also get extreme charlie horses (cramps) in my feet, legs and neck. I get hot flashes (only when eating) so they aren't typical hot flashes......just curious if anyone else experiences this and if these are indeed a side effect of the Lotrel. HELP please answer!!!!
