My Husband is taking Simvastatin 40 mg and he has very bad mood swings and outburst we been married 17 years so I know my husbands moods by now and he never had mood swings or outburst like this he feels no happiness and thinks he is a failure anyone else going threw this please help and if so what should we do?

All statins can cause MANY side effects . . . I suggest that your husband stop taking this dangerous drug. The drs. and the drug co's have a HUGE racket for the anti-cholesterol drugs . . . big $$ and many people suffer.
Mood swings and depression can be a result from taking statin drugs. You are not the first to mention this. And you won't be the last.
