high blood pressure

I switched to alesse and within 2 days my blood pressure shot up and I was wide awake every 2-3 nts all night long with a pounding racing heart! Did anyone experience that? Pretty scary...I just weened off them a week ago and pressure almost normal again. Now Im considering micronor though wish I could give my body a break--20 yrs on pills!
