how long after 1st Lupron shot does side effects start?

I had my first shot of lupron 3.75 a few days ago, I see all the side effects everyone has and no one says how soon they see them. I started the shot the 1st day of my period and I haven't stopped yet, although it has slowed down. Mr gyn says it's to sson to see side effects this early after the shot. Anyone have feed back for me??????
