how long do lisinopril side effects last after stopping medication

after taking lisinopril for about 10 days, i've stopped because of the coughing, and lots of head pressure and some dizziness. was taking simvastatin for about 3 weeks before I started the lisinopril. I was taken off the simvastatin because it was causing headaches. how long does it take for the medicines to clear out of the body. I've been off the simvastatin for about 2 1/2 weeks and off the lisinopril for about 4 days. still have temple pressure and head paint to the base of my skull.
