i am trying to control blood sugars

Posted at 10: 4 AM on Oct 27, 2009 by rosalba, #11162
I was on 20 mg of lipitor for 6 months and 10mg for 3 prior. I was finding a direct correlation between lipitor and blood levels elevated in my fasting blood results so I took myself off three weeks ago. Is this okay?

let's put it this way: it's better to be off lipitor than on it. it's better still to have NEVER taken it in the first place but if you have taken it, it's better to taper off than to go cold turkey

Good that you stopped taking this dangerous drug that cause MANY side effects. I stopped taking this POISON "cold turkey" , because I could no longer stand the side effects and I did a detox to help to rid of this drug from my body. Now I know that the drs. and the drug co's are doing a SCAM on the anti-cholesterol drugs . . . .big $ business. In reality, your mind/body needs cholesterol to function properly.

You are a very sharp individual to take note of the correlation between statins and elevated blood sugar. Virtually every study has shown an increase in blood sugars and diabetes in the statin group. This data gets brushed aside and not talked about among those who's livelyhood is made with statins.
