I have cancer and a infected toe

Yes I do have cancer leukemia and I just got over a infection in my toe and my doctor wants me to take cipro but I can't don't think it's a good idea casue it interacts with the chemo methotrextate so what would you recommend taking for a ingrown toenail that's infected
