I'm on 50mg tablets for a week

My question is : If I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome due to my addiction to meth for 17yrs and heavy use for periods of time that ranged from 1yr to 4yrs and in doses that are suppose to kill or hospitalize most ,but instead I guess due to my adrenaline constantly going over time ,I got use to my heart rate pounding fast and little to no appetite ,and loss of sleep ,then sleeping for days and doing it all again and again ! When I finally got to the point of wanting to quit and get healthy I no longer seem to have any kind of adrenaline or motivation , even after days, even weeks of constant sleeping , & eating , I had no energy at all to even get up to shower or get dressed ,then it turned into months still none of my old energy or spark returned so then I'd fall off the wagon and go and do meth & for the next day or two my energy was back ,I now not only got showered & dressed ,but I even cleaned my house ,went to the store ,etc so for the time I had the little bit of meth back in my system I felt like I had some of the energy I had like before I had started meth . But I really wanted to quit so I tried again and again and now I begun seeking help from family doctors and at that time the research on meth addiction had just begun ,I was put on paxil,prozac,lithium,riddlin,dextrose,effector,nothing helped all the blood tests were normal and good ,catscans fine,but I had lost whatever it is that produces adrenaline and mental awakeness & willingness to function daily . Anyway I'm now on prednisone 50 mg for 7 days because I'm unable to get rid of the flu and now my lungs are congested and sinuses plugged even after I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks so now am I going to experience the side effects that most people do taking this drug ,like loss of sleep ,not eating ,in a daze etc or will I not recognize them because they're so similar to the affects of meth????
