Impact of hydrochlorothiazide on heart rate

I have been on lisinopril for many years with no side effects and exercise is enjoyable. I have now added 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide and my resting heart rate is 25 bpm higher and it is much higher during the same level of exercise. Is there anything I can do to reduce the impact of hydrochlorothiazide on HR (both resting and during exercise). Note: I believe I drink plenty of water.
