Implanon causing long periods

I have had the Implanon in for 12 months now. At first i didn't get my period for a while, Now i get it 2 to 3 weeks at a time with a one week break if im lucky. One of the main reasons i got the implanon was to stop my periods. Does anyone have any advice for me or another contraceptive method that will stop my periods altogether?

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM I GET MAYBE A WEEK FOR BREAK BECAUSE IM BLEEDING ALMOST EVERY DAY.AND THE WEIGHT,DONT MENTION IT IM HAVING A VERY HARD TIME LOOSING WEIGHT SINCE I HAD THE IMPLANON INSERTED. MY ADVICE IS REMOVE IT.
