Itching caused by Biaxin

What is the best remedy for an allergic reaction caused by Biaxin? So, that I can go over this with my Dr. I have already been prescribed Hydroxyzine 25 mg 3x daily. This is the first day on that med but, I don't really feel any relief. How long does it take for Biaxin to clear your system? Is there anything else that I can do to hasten it? i.e. drinking water, how much etc. What ever help you can provide is always greatly appreciated. Great Site.
