Keflex

Does anyone know why Keflex is so seldom the drug of choice by doctors who want to treat a bacteriological infection? I personally know that I've gotten over bad infections in quick-time compared to how I respond to other drug interventions. Frustrating. Doctors tend to get "testy" whenever I suggest prescribing it, too. ???
