Kenalog advise
About three weeks ago I was given 6 Kenalog injections. two into my neck, two into my mid back and two into my lower back. I have had some bothersome side effects such as weight gain, acne, depression, sleeplessness, moodiness, hip pain.
Was I given too much of this stuff at one time? How long is this stuff supposed to stay in my system? And is there anyway to GET IT OUT?
This stuff did not help my muscle spasms like it was supposed to, and the pain seems to be woese in these injected area's.
I do not know how to answer your question, but Kenalog is very dangerous. I had a doctor accidentally inject me with Kenalog directly in to my subdural space and now have been diagnosed with arachnoiditis. Scary scary stuff!! If I never hear the word Kenalog again I'd be better off. This drug and the doctors misuse of it have ruined me forever. Good luck with your problem. Get a new high resolution MRI T2 weighted with and without contrast. Have a good experienced neuoradiologist revue the films.
