lamictal and pregnancy

Posted at 11:48 AM on Mar 20, 2009 by kristally, #9473
does anyone have any experience with lamictal and pregnancy? I know they have a registry for pregnant women taking the drug, but I was wondering if anyone else has been told by their doctor that lamictal is/is not okay during pregnancy, as mine has said it is okay but I am still worried. Thanks!

I had a perfectly healthy baby taking 200mg of lamictal a day. I didnt breast-feed though because the meds can get into your milk and be passed to the infant. Also your doctor should prescribe folic acid to be taken daily.
