Is there any way to sue the manufacturer of this drug?
I contacted a lawyer about this already. I was told that currently, it's only possible when you actually have tendon ruptures, not for the myriad of other devastating side effects, like: joint pain, muscle fatigue, dry eyes, insomnia, back pain, tingling limbs, numb fingers, etc.
This is a terrible drug, unless as a last resort to save your life.
Get a different lawyer. You may not be able to join a class action but individuals who suffer from damages resulting in personal injury can solicit the help of an attorney. You may have to try a few before one will accept the case, but eventually someone will agree to help you. That's why we have a legal system. Good luck and don't forget to log your complaints on the FDA medwatch web site. It's the only real way we'll be heard.
