Lipitor and Alcohol

I drink socially and take liptor and was wondering in that I only drink in the evenings if it's better to take the lipitor in the morning in order for the liver to metabolize the alcohol at night. Or is the liver simply distributed evenly over a 24 hour period making the time you take it with alcohol irrelevant.
