I was taking lisinopril 20 mg for about five years and I was having reactions to swelling on my face on several places and I told my Doctor about this and she never told me about that this could be a side affect of the drug I stop taking the drug about a year ago but still continue to have what looks like some kind of hives could this cause a permanent reaction to the drug

Everyone is different . . .age, dosage, how long that you took the drug, etc. I stopped taking LIpitor (statin), 2-08 and I still have the side effects. I am taking several supplements to help it . . . .Unfortunately, now I know the damage that drugs can. That's why it is frustrating that drs. continue to push drugs . . when there are natural products/alternatives.
