longer bleeding

I have had the mirena in for about 7 & 1/2 months now. Had lots of spotting at the start, but now has settled a bit. Only problem now is my period seems to last for 2 weeks. It is very light, some days a bit heavier, only a liner is needed, but they last for 2 weeks. Does anyone else have this problem?
