Medicine Dose

Hey Y'all! I have a question. If your synthroid is increased or decreased, should you wait a few days before taking the new dose? (I have no thyroid) and am on Levothyroxine. I take generic. They had me on too much-headaches, heart palpitations, etc... We were doing a test run for a week to increase the Levothyroxine but decided that maybe we needed to lower it back. I was just curious. And no, I have not been back to doctor yet, I am going Thursday. But I was just wondering.
