when taking lortab 10 mg for pain or whatever, compared to methadone its a joke, methadone is so much stronger. It has a much higher pain relief property, and last about 3 times as long as lortab, depending on dosage. I should know im prescribed 200 mg of methadone a day, i was on 4 40 mg tablets and 4 10's a day but since the dea took 40's off the shelf i have to take 20 10 mg a day, personally i think its stupid that they did that but i hope that answers your question
