Mirena Perforated my Uterus wall...has anybody else had that problem?

I got Mirena put in August 2007, when my youngest son was 2 months old. I got pregnant on the pill both times, and with my youngest i was breastfeeding and didn't have a period plus was on the mini pill!! So i asked my obgyn what she suggested for birth control that would actually work for me. I didn't really have any problems with the Mirena until 5 months ago and it has been hell ever since!! I went to the dr when it first started and they said everything was fine and sent me home. I was having my period every two weeks and felt like i was pregnant every month. My breasts were so sore and tender and i was having horrible headaches constantly! I went back to the doctor about 3 weeks ago and they decided to have an ultrasound done to see if the Mirena was still in place (my strings wrapped around right after it was put in so they couldn't tell if it was still in place). They couldn't tell so they ordered an internal ultrasound and still couldn't see it. I then had xrays and all they said was that it was in my pelvis but they weren't sure where. Finally, last Friday i had to get a CT Scan done and when i called the doctor today they informed me that the Mirena has perforated my uterus and is in my body by my right ovary. They are going to schedule surgery to remove it but thats not going to be for almost another month. I am still having pain and they don't seem to understand that I don't want to wait another month. I have already dealt with all of this for the past 4 months and its horrible!!! Has this happened to anyone else?
