Mirena removal
I have had the Mirena for over a year without any complications. My husband and I decided that we want another child. I had the Mirena removed three days ago and I am deathly ill. I have a fever and chills. Sort of like I am sick but I just wanted to know if this is common or anyone else out there has experienced the same issues.

I had mine removed on sept 30, and have bled on and off since. but no chills or fever like you have... maybe it's coincidence?
I had my mirena removed last week and have had some spotting and cramps but otherwise fine. Blood tests say I am menopausal but i'm not sure what to expect. I had it in 7 years ago for endometriosis and it saved me from having a hysterectomy and changed my life. I have had no adverse affects.
