Muscle Spasm

Been taking Flomax once/day for a few years. Now have increasing muscle spasm in upper left arm, which Dr. says is a common side effect. Spasm lasts from 1 - 30 minutes several times a day. Not severe, just annoying - like a mind tooth ache. Have tried various ointment rubs, aspirin, Aleve, hot compresses. No relief. Anyone else have this side effect and has anything worked to relieve or decrease it?

Flomax is designed to relax smooth muscle tissue in the bladder neck and prostate. What other meds are you taking? This may be a drug interaction. I checked Flomax in my PDR and muscle spasms were not listed as side effects!......................TRUDY
