Nose bleed

My 11 year old son has just started to take a low dose of Risperdal this week, he was diagnosed as having tourettes. This is the first week and he has had three nosebleeds in three days. I can not speak to his doctor until tomorrow but in the meantime I am not sure whether I should give him the medication. I would grateful for any advice that you give give me. Thank you Allisno
