nuva ring help!

ive been on the NR for about 2 months now . i have noticed some side effects such as mood changes, weight gain, and i got really sick the first month felt like no pain ive ever felt i was sweating n it wasn't hot n my stomach felt like muscles were contracting! HOWEVER is it okay to not leave the ring out for that one week period and just immediately replace it with a new ring once the 3week period is over? please tell me because i have been leaving the ring in for 3weeks and replacing it right after and not leaving it out for 1week.

I took the NuvaRing for 1 year..just recently switched to Orth-Tri. I always took it out for a week without replacing the next ring until the following week. They call it the "ring-free" week, which is also when you are to get your period, I would be worried that you are leaving the next one in a week too long...
