Omeprazole & Prostatitis

Hi, I have been taking Omeprazole 20mg daily for the past 3 years. I take one pill in the morning as I wake up and continue my daily routine. Recently I've been having back ache problems and most symptoms associated to prostatitis. I have seen a doctor and I'm going for a culture tomorrow. Is it possible that prostatitis is due to the continuous intake of omeprazole for so long!
