pain legs and feet

I have been on Pravachol for a short time and am experiencing itching around my lower legs and foot pain that is keeping me from sleeping . The itching appears mostly at night with uneasy legs but the foot pain bothers me all day, I have tried new shoes thinking that was the problem but it hasn't helped. Can this drug do this?
