prednisone affects after stopping drug

I know when you wean yourself off the drug, you experience withdrawal symptoms. I know when I lowered the dosage, I felt such fatigue, I could not get out of the bed. I did not know why I felt this way, until the Dr. told me about the withdrawal effects. I wish he had told me so I would not have thought something awful was happening. The fatigue was absolute exhaustion. I hope you will steadily get stronger and better and never have to go back on prednisone.
