reaction to lovastatin

my father is taking 40 mg of lovastatin a day. . for the second time since he has started taking it he has been taking to the er with excruciating pain in his stomach & chest, he throws up this god wakeful black substance & poops uncontrollably with blood in his stool.. for a month he did different testing & everything came out great! could he be allergic to the lovastatin or could it be galbladder or something to that effect? please give me some advice!

Statins are dangerous drugs that cause MANY side effects. Drs. and the drug co's are doing a SCAM on the anti-cholesterol drugs . . . it is all about big $$$. In reality, your mind/body needs cholesterol to function properly. . . . DON'T LET A DR. TO CON YOU OR YOUR FATHER.
