Is it safe to suddenly stop taking Zocor 80 after taking it for years? A friend of mine has started getting bad cramps, and has noticed memory "fuzz" and muscle wasting. I strongly advised him to start taking CoQ10 which he is, and Mag Phos for the cramps. He stopped taking the Zocor but got a bit worried about stopping it suddenly after taking it for 15 years.
