Seroquel and Weight Gain

Will they ever find out what ingredient in seroquel is causing weighgain?

Sure does and sets you up for diabetes.

I've taken high doses of Seroquel (300mg) and I haven't gained any weight at all. I actually lost 10-15 pounds after being taken off Risperdal and put on Seroquel.

i am a case manager and all of my clients complain of major weight gain. what is in seroquel that makes individuals gain so much weight. Clients complain that they have not been eating more (some are definitely not eating less) but they have obvious significant weight gain. Is their weight gain due to swelling as some clients look puffy as if there is something like that going on. They appear to become big around the middle and then spread.

if you lost weight your lucky,I gained 70lbs in less than a yr. and I hardly eat anything.
