Should I take it?

My pulminary Doctor just prescribed Levaquin 500 for an upper respitory infection that I have, I always check to read about meds before I take them, I'm really worried if this was a good idea for him to prescribe this since I was diagnosed with mediastinsal enlarged lymp nodes a while back? Was this a wise choice for a pulminary Doctor or is it possible he is un aware of these things? Should I start the meds?
