sores on the outside of my nose

I started using Miacalcin about a year and a half ago and immediately started having what looked like pimples appear on the upper part of my nose. They were not pimples. They soon turned into sores that would bleed, then scab, then bleed and then scab for weeks before they would clear up and by that time another one had cropped up. I finally took myself off this medication and I'm still trying to clear up this situation, even though it seems to be getting better. Is there anything I can do to clear up this situation quicker?
