I have had mine in for almost 2 years (will be 2 years in January) and have had no problems with it at all. I love it.... However I over the last few months have been spotting... nothing really bad and it only lasts a week or so. The thing that gets me is that for the first year and a bit I didn't have a period at all. And all of a sudden I am spotting. Is this something normal or should I be worried... I have moved and have no doctor to go to ask such a simple question...
I'm having the same issue. Had mine in for 2.5 years, love it, and now all the sudden I'm spotting and my period came a week early last month. What gives? are the hormones wearing out? So, you're not alone.

I've had mine for almost three years. About 12 months ago i started to have irrregular bleeding.... now i rarely go two days without bleeding. Such a shame as it was so good to start with. Got an app. to have it removed. won't miss the spots, bleeding, mood swings, grumpyness, hair loss.... but will miss the freedom!!
