stopping norvasc

Is it possible to stop taking Norvasc 5mg immediately as my blood pressure is under control now. Pl. note that i am taking it with beta blocker

Did your doctor authorize and give you permission to stop your Norvasc? I would not stop taking it until your doctor gives you permission. Maybe he wants you to stop it instead of your beta blocker, etc. He would know best.

I was over tired and having palpitations, and I asked my doctor and he said it's ok to stop it, instead I added 10 mg to my 30 mg a day lisinopril
