switching mid pack from yasmin to loestrin

I was on yaz but had breakthrough bleeding in the first 4 months. My doctor switched me to Yasmin. I've been on Yasmin for 11 days and the past few days I've been highly emotional, crying for no reason, depressed and feel huge and very fatigued. I went back to my doctor this morning and she is going to put me on loeestrin. My doctor said that I can start this Sunday even though it would mean I won't have my period for another 3 weeks. The booklet that came with the loestrin says to complete your previous bcp before starting it. But I don't think I can wait that long without losing my mind. Help! Should I wait 2 more weeks to take it when I start my inactive pills?
