What does this drug actually do to a person
as a side affect? My husband was perscribe the med for not being able to sleep at night. He does have alot of dancing leg syndrome
and suffers with head aches and high blood pressure before the meds. This is important to know the side affects soon.

I took trazadone for depression for several yrs. and took it at bedtime as an aid to help me sleep. When I was put on another med I had to get off traz. gradually over a couple of days. The dosage was cut in half for 2 or 3 days and the side effects I felt were like electric shocks that happened each time I was falling to sleep. After 2 nights of this these side effects left and I was sure glad.
