Using xanax for about 20 years

that is what my mother takes. she also takes only at night to help her sleep we have switched dr.s and they all of th e sudden refused to see her any more because of the xanax she has been taking for 13 yrs. !!!! she is a 73 yr. old woman who has never taken anything but tylenol her whole life until my father passed away and she was having anxiety and trouble sleeping.he said we need to find another dr. so we didi . i told the new dr. she takes xanax once daily at night. she said no problem we get a letter after she spoke with previous dr. and she said my mother had not been honest about her abuse of xanax !!!! this is ludacrious !!!! she is a 73 yr. old who takes them to sleep !!!! she leads a very productive life .very frustrating !!! now we have to try and find another dr. !!!! any suggestions ??
