vision problems with actos

My sugar has never been very high. I had a7.2 AiC a couple of years ago, but brought it down to 6.2. They put me on metformin which caused joint or bone pain and hair loss. I discontinued this and they put me on actos which caused swelling and all the other symptom of metformin plus hunger and weight gain. The worst of my problems is my sudden vision problem.. My right eye became blurry. Is this a side effect of actos and will it clear up? I quit taking actos a couple of weeks ago and vision still blurry.
