I've been using transdermal testosterone for about 8 years, due to a measured low serum level. I'm 70.
Initially, the effects were clearly beneficial to quality of life. For the past 3 years, I've also been taking Vytorin, as my cholesterol levels were somewhat high. It has seemed that the beneficial effects of testosterone diminished at about that time.
Can Vytorin reduce the effects of testosterone?
Go to lipitor side effects on this site. You can then compare your symptoms with others, vytorin is used for the same reasons as lipitor. If you research more you will find that there is strong argument from highly qualified people that high cholestrol is essential for older folk's longeivity. Welcome to the sickening reality that I have suffered this year, my doctor whom I trusted with everything is regrettabaly not as trustworthy as myself. Also if your plumbing slows down try chucking the vytorin and take 6 x 1000 mg vit c throughout the day if that doesn't put a dent in the back of the bowl and keep your slippers dry I'll eat hay.
