Want to stop taking lipitor immediately

I have been on lipitor for 15 yrs and after all the side effect I am wanting to quit immediately...What can happen if I quit taking this poison now? I have had muscle deterioration and was told by doctors that it is due to my age of 61. Sometimes it is difficult to get up out of a chair, walk, get out of bed, much less turn over in bed the pain is so severe. Headaches, memory loss, numbness in legs and arms/hands/fingers too. Of course I too believed why would your doctor do something to harm you.Wonder how many bonuses, plane trips, curise trips, etc I have paid for after all these years. When I found this site I was looking for side effect for prednisone. Look what I found. OMG as the old saying goes If I had known then what I know now, this would never have happened...So..I guess I go forward from here and try to fix this mess myself..Please help if you have and suggestion or ideas..I will be talking to my Dr. you can bet on that!!!
