water retention

I have been on many pills and this seems to be the one that adversely affects me the least.. except for the extreme water retention and foot cramps. I've suffered everything from anxiety and depression to extreme acne and body hair... I'd like to stick with this one in hopes that the side affects stay to a minimum. Does anyone know if water pills will adversely affect me while on them? I'm going to the doctor soon for a follow up, but would like a heads up and see what other people think of this product.
