Weaning off of Lisinopril

Posted at 8:54 AM on Sep 16, 2009 by amatx8002, #10907
I have been taking this drug since July 1st, about 2 1/2 months and have a lot of the side effects. I didn't take it last night after finding this website. Has anyone quit taking it cold turkey or do I need to wean myself off of it? Thank you

Good that you will stop taking it. . . . Taking drugs can cause many side effects. Everyone is different is . . I have done "cold turkey" with a statin and other drugs. Now, I only use natural products Since you only took it for a short time . . . for me, I would want to get the drug from my system , ASAP.

I'm having wacky symptoms. Pins and needles, dizziness, numbness in arms and face. I took my last dose yesterday, and accidentally came across this site. I'm done, but I'm going to the doctor tomorrow morning.
