Wellbutrin/Post Cerebral Anueryam

Has anyone ever taken WELLBUTRIN after any type of Brain Surgery? I was on Wellbutrin for about one year... I did great ... I quit smoking and lost 30 lbs.. Then last august I was Diagnosed with 3 brain aneurysms and a small benign tumor.. I had surgery and came out with flying colors.. But unfortunately during my recovery phase I put on 25 of those pounds.... I would like to start taking it again.. My neurosurgeon said no, my pcp said it wouldn't hurt. The weight gain is depressing me and I'm feeling like I want to start smoking... Has anyone taken Wellbutrin post aneurysm?
