What is in Vicodin that makes you feel happy?

Posted at 7:25 PM on Nov 03, 2008 by sandra30, #8177
When I take vicodin it makes my life so much easier to handle. I appreciate and have patience with my kids. I feel a sense of well being and have a good time with my family. I wondered what ingredient in vicodin would have such a affect on me. Thank you

It's the opiates in it that increases the serotonin (feel good hormone) in your brain. Opiates are seriously addictive. The normal progression is people liking vicodin then they move up to stronger opiates and eventually to heroin. Quite now while ya can. I like them too and I am definitely addicted. Some people they make tired but I totally get what you mean about them making you happy.
