I just posted about my side effects to remicade. I went to my doctor yesterday (nov. 30, 2010) four day's after the bone and joint pain started. She toled me not to continue with my remicade infusions and she put me on a high dose of prednazone. Even after 8 months of beeing on remicade and my infusions beeing every 6 weeks, she is convinced this is a reaction to remicade because in 17 years of having crohns I have never had a problem with my bones or joints. The day befor starting the prednazone I couldn't walk up my stairs. I have taken one dose of prednazone and every joint and bone are working as if there was nothing wrong in the first place. This is just a quick fix for now. My doctor has sent a refferal to the leading gastrointeroligyst in the country who deeles with difficult crohns such a me. He is aparently working with a new trile drug and I am a canidate for it. In the last 17 years my body has rejected every drug I have ever been on for my crohns, Thanks for listening and I will post again if I do go on this new trile drug.
