http://www.medications.com/effect/view/16504 I was put on low dose prednisone 6 days ago for poison ivy. I took 8 pills first day, 6 2nd day, 4 third day, 3 5th day, 2 6th day and then one today and one tomorrow. Short-term use, but feel I would have rather suffered the itching and severe rash! My
