http://www.medications.com/effect/view/31960 I got Mirena put in May 16th. I had it put in while I was on my period, the insertion wasn't bad at all. Felt like a period cramp. It was over in a few minutes. I felt fine. Went home and did some laundry. I bled for another week after getting it in.
